Joseph O’Brien is a phenomenal racing talent from one of the great racing names on the planet.
The son of legendary Coolmore trainer Aidan O’Brien, he rode for just seven years as a jockey, starting a week after his 16th birthday. He has trained since 2016, winning four races on his first day with runners. The following year, 2017 he became the youngest person to win The Melbourne Cup with REKINDLING at just 24 years of age. He has now two Melbourne Cups, the second with TWILIGHT PAYMENT in 2020 and in 2021 won The Cox Plate with STATE OF REST. By the age of 28 he has won 24 Group 1 races in four countries and 900 winners.
