Charlotte Littlefield – Victoria
The head trainer of Hayfields Racing, Charlotte Littlefield, stands out as one of Victoria’s brightest young talents, her passion and meticulous approach yielding impressive results. Notably, Charlotte has steered Yankee Lou and Big Acheeva to victories for Team Grand, showcasing her skill and dedication.
Established in 2015 by Charlotte Littlefield and Julian Hay, Hayfields Racing embodies Charlotte’s lifelong passion for horses. Growing up in Somerset, England, she was practically born in the saddle, mastering various equestrian disciplines before making her mark on the British Eventing Team with her beloved Jacko’s Delight.
After arriving in Australia in 2005 and completing her studies, Charlotte delved deeper into the racing world, initially through pre-training racehorses. It was here she met Julian, whose own love for racing matched her own.
Charlotte’s dedication to the sport led her to obtain her trainer’s license and achieve early success with Bergerac Rose in 2015. Despite the stable’s growth, Charlotte remains hands-on, riding daily and drawing inspiration from her English roots.
