She’s a pearler—from one of New Zealand’s greatest families
A filly from one of the great New Zealand families of all time, she is by champion stallion PROISIR and out the Group 1 One Thousand Guineas placed The Lustre. Supremely athletic and in the top echelon of fillies in the sale on our data, this is a family I have always wanted to get into. She will be trained in Melbourne by Charlotte Littlefield and was a very good buy.
PROISIR is a champion stallion in New Zealand and runs at a remarkable 10% Stakes winners to winners. He has left six individual Group 1 winners and continues to hit new heights each year.
She is out of the young Group 1 performed mare The Lustre, with her grand dam the Stakes winner and multiple Group performed THE PEARLER and descends from the great broodmare THE WINK. This is a wonderful fillies family of great Group 1 horses THE DIMPLE, THE TWINKLE, THE FANTASY and THE PENNY. She is going to be fun to name!
She flows when she moves and will be prepared for a light two-year-old campaign by Charlotte, and shapes as a wonderful three-year-old for Australia’s Guineas and classic races. She will race for enormous prizemoney in Melbourne and will also be entered for the Karaka Million series. Should she gain black type, she will become enormously valuable.
