Proisir x Seraphim Yearling Colt

Trained by: Chris Waller, Sydney

Proisir x Seraphim Yearling Colt
A gorgeous colt with terrific movement—he simply floats when he walks

A colt with stallion potential. By champion sire PROISIR out of the Stakes winning mare SERAPHIM, with his second dam the champion stayer and Melbourne Cup winner ETHEREAL. Trained by a champion in Chris Waller, this colt has everything going for him.

A gorgeous colt with terrific movement and in the Top 10 colts of the sale on biometrics, pedigree and stride length – we had to have him. He simply floats when he walks and has a deep girth, where the engine room is. PROISIR is a champion stallion in New Zealand and runs at a remarkable 10% Stakes winners to winners. He has left six individual Group 1 winners and continues to hit new heights each year

He is the first living foal of SERAPHIM, a young mare that was a Stakes winner and won three races in succession. She is by RIP VAN WINKLE (the son of the incomparable GALILEO) who is turning out to be a great broodmare sire. His grand dam ETHEREAL won four Group 1 races including the Caulfield and Melbourne Cup double, and it is a family just packed with Stakes winners.

He will be prepared for a light two-year-old campaign by Chris Waller, and shapes as a wonderful three-year-old for Australia’s Guineas and classic races. He will race for enormous prizemoney in Sydney and also be entered for the Karaka Million series. We would love to keep him as a colt and win a Group 1 race with him.
